The RTT system adopts a special design to efficiently check checked luggage and air cargo.

The security department of OSI Systems has been awarded a contract to supply its real-time tomography (RTT) 110 explosive detection system.

Under a contract worth nearly 13 million U.S. dollars, OSI Systems will provide multiple sets of RTT 110 explosive detection systems, which will be installed at the Asia-Pacific International Airport to check passengers' checked (checked) luggage.

The system uses a proprietary fixed frame method to provide high-resolution 3D imaging.

Its unique design can also effectively check checked luggage and air cargo.

The system is currently deployed in various airports and aviation logistics providers around the world.

It complies with the HBS EDS standard 3 threat detection requirements of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).

Deepak Chopra, Chairman and CEO of OSI Systems, said: "We are very pleased to support this customer and expand our CT checked baggage inspection system installation base at major international airports."

In September 2020, the security department of OSI Systems was awarded a contract to provide a series of security inspection systems for the Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Qatar.

Qatar Airport Operations and Management Corporation (MATAR) awarded a $59 million order.

The scope of the contract includes the delivery of the high-speed Rapiscan RTT 110 system for baggage inspection, the Itemizer 4DX desktop tracking and inspection system and related services.

In another development project, Turner Construction, headquartered in the United States, has won a contract to manage the $300 million centralized deicing facility along Louis Carruthers Drive at Memphis International Airport (MEM). Three stages and final stage.

The contract was finalized by the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA).
