Ujjain (Naiduniya Representative). Elaborate arrangements are being made for the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to Ujjain on October 11 to inaugurate the Mahakal Lok. The Special Protection Team (SPG) will take over the command of the security system from Thursday. Five thousand police officers and jawans are being called from outside. DIG level officers are being made in-charge of security at all the places. State DGP Sudhir Saxena will come to Ujjain on Wednesday to take stock of all the arrangements. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also perform Shipra Aarti at Ramghat. Therefore, the security of the ghat is also being beefed up.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Mahakal Lok built in the Mahakal temple complex on October 11. Police is busy in security arrangements regarding PM’s visit. Four thousand police officers and jawans are being sent to Ujjain from across the state. Here their duty is being imposed in the meeting place at Circuit House, Helipad, Mahakal Mandir, Mahakal Lok, Ramghat, Karthik Mela Ground. DIG level officers have been made in-charge of security for these places.

There is only one Bomb Disposal Squad in Ujjain. In view of this, 15 teams from across the state have been called with equipment. Apart from this, Hand Scanner, Bag Scanner, Door Frame Metal Detector (DFMD), Hand Held Metal Detector (HHMD), Binoculars, Loud Hauler have been called.

DGP will take stock of security arrangements today

State Police Chief Sudhir Saxena will come to Ujjain on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi on Wednesday. At around 11 in the morning, on the police line, we will perform weapon worship on Vijay Dashami festival. After this, PM Modi will go to the helipad, Mahakal temple, Mahakal Lok and meeting place to take stock of the security arrangements.

Six medical specialists, six surgeons, five orthopedics, four anesthesiologists, five ophthalmologists, two ENT specialists have been called from Dewas, Mandsaur, Shajapur, Agar, Ratlam, Agar. The blood of PM Narendra Modi, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been kept safe in the district hospital. Avanti Hospital has been kept in reserve for emergency and all hospitals have been asked to remain alert.

Investigating hotel, shame and Jamaat

All the police station in-charges of the city are daily checking the hotels, lodges, dharamsalas, guest houses located in their respective areas. The Mahakal Police alone has so far investigated more than 750 tenants apart from more than 300 hotels. A case has been registered against seven hotel operators and one landlord for not giving information. Apart from this, the Jamaat is also being investigated. Information of all the people coming to the Jamaat is also being taken.
